Lola's birthday

Here are some pictures from my lola's (grandmother) 70th birthday held at Racy's Drive-Inn last Saturday, February 18, 2012. At first I was hesitant to go home because of too much work and schoolwork to do, but I couldn't say no to my dearest lola. I realized that times or occasions like this one shouldn't be taken for granted. School's just there, work's just there, what is one weekend to spend with your family and relatives. After all, this kind of occasion only happens once in a blue moon. My family in the mother side is not fond of holding parties or special occasions so the occasion last Saturday really was really a big deal for us.

Sure lola's birthday was a feast. I pray that the Lord will grant her more blessed years in her lifetime. A wonderful person like her truly deserves it.
